Gloss Glazes are the cousin to Duncan's popular nontoxic Envision Glazes.
Aside from their different formulation, the primary distinction between the two is in application and firing. Gloss Glazes move slightly more in firing than do Envision and need not be applied as smoothly.
Both come in a range of colors, from opaque to transparent, and lend themselves to a variety of techniques.
Clear Glazes act as a sealant over underglazes and bisque. In addition to giving pieces their ultimate finish, they also give depth and brilliance to the underlying colors.
GL611: Versatile gloss Glaze for use over leaded or nontoxic underglazes and bisque. Similar in appearance to IN1001 Envision Clear.
GL611; Covers with 2 smooth coats. Not safe for food containers.
Always damp - sponge ware lightly before applying glaze.
Apply 2 to 4 flowing coats (see label)
Apply to bisque
