Natural Tint Translucents are oil-based antiquing translucents that can be wiped back with water. Their thick, pasty consistency allows an easy, very smooth application. Some colors contain a gold powder which produces a soft golden sheen.
Application:
To antique, apply 1 coat over dry acrylic color, working it into all crevices; wipe back with soft cloth or tissue. To remove more color, moisten cloth or tissue with water or Thin'n Shade and wipe again (Note: although Natural Tints can be wiped back with water, never thin with water as they're oil-based products.) To apply over other Natural Tint color, seal surface before applying subsequent color.
Reserve brushes for use only with Natural Tints.
Clean brushes with Brush Cleaner or Antiquing Solvent.
Seal with Ceramic Spray or Brush-On- Sealer.Duncan non-fired color Group
